CASA of Lane County

About Us
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lane County recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers who become parties to the dependency cases of children who are in foster care due to abuse or neglect. CASAs serve as a child’s voice in court and in the community by advocating for their best interests, ensuring their needs are met, and guiding children through the complex court and child welfare systems.
When children are removed from their homes, they often enter overburdened systems that can drown out their voices. CASA volunteers step in to ensure their voices are heard loud and clear, helping to find safe, permanent homes for these children as quickly as possible.
By supporting CASA of Lane County, you can help provide a powerful voice for these children and enable them to find the safety and stability they deserve. Together, we can create a community where every child is cherished and allowed to thrive.
Mission Statement
CASA of Lane County's mission is to be a powerful voice, empowering volunteer advocates to safeguard the best interests of children who have endured abuse or neglect. We are dedicated to offering hope and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
