About Us

For more than four decades, Eugene Weekly has reported the stories that matter in Lane County — holding local power accountable, covering arts and culture, amplifying local voices and celebrating the people and places that make our community special.

Eugene Weekly Press Club, a project of nonprofit fiscal sponsor Alternative Newsweekly Foundation, gives our community a way to help keep Eugene Weekly strong, independent and free. Local support helps make the reporting, photography, editing and other work that goes into producing Eugene Weekly every week possible. And it helps keep the paper free, so the journalism remains accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.

At a time when local news organizations everywhere are struggling, that support is more important than ever. Supporting Eugene Weekly Press Club helps keep independent local journalism alive and thriving in Lane County.
