About Us

Community support keeps independent local journalism alive. Eugene Weekly Press Club, a project of nonprofit fiscal sponsor Alternative Newsweekly Foundation, helps Eugene Weekly stay strong, independent and free — reporting local stories, holding power accountable and keeping the presses rolling every Thursday.

Mission Statement

Eugene Weekly Press Club helps sustain independent local journalism in Lane County. Support helps keep local news accessible to everyone while strengthening coverage of the people, places, issues, and arts and culture that shape our community.
